According to the Virginia Employment Commission, the Mother State's health care industry is hiring steadily. Most Virginia employers require registered nurses hold at least an associate's degree in nursing--although some specialties require a bachelor's degree or higher. Medical and health services managers in Virginia are usually required to have a master's degree in business administration (MBA) or related field.
