While there are differences between physical therapy degrees and occupational therapy degrees, both train graduates to help patients overcome pain or disabilities in order to become healthier and more independent. Physical therapy schools stress biology, chemistry, and physics, as well as subjects like biomechanics, examination techniques, human growth and development, and therapeutic procedures.
