• Jackie Robinson Foundation-Provides scholarships for needy minority youths
• March of Dimes Nursing Scholarships- $5,000 award for RN's currently be enrolled in graduate programs in maternal-child nursing at the Master’s or Doctorate level.
• Minority Nurse Scholarships-- Financial assistance to help racial and ethnic minority nursing students fulfill their professional education goals
• National Association of Neonatal Nurses-The Foundation for Neonatal Research and Education offers scholarships for NANN members pursuing either a BSN or a graduate degree in the clinical area of neonatal nursing or nursing administration. (Award amount has been $1500) Apply online or call FNRE at (800) 451-3795 for an application by mail.
• National Health Service Corps-(800-221-9393)-The NHSC sponsors both scholarships and loan repayment programs and 10% of the available funds are set-aside specifically for nurse practitioners, nurse midwives, and physician's assistants.
• Nurse Options Registered Nurse Academic Scholarships-Any Registered Nurse student in their final 6 months of study (meaning that they are eligible for employment within 6 months) or previous graduates who have not commenced employment, and possess at least a 3.0 grade point average are welcome to apply.
• The Patricia  Smith Christensen Scholarship-$1,000 scholarship to assist a graduate nursing student who is pursuing her/his nursing education in the area of maternal-child or pediatric nursing.
• Pediatric Endocrinology Nursing Society (PENS) - Scholarships are available to members to help support the cost of nursing academic programs (BSN, MSN, Ph.D.). Applications are awarded on the basis of need, in amounts up to $1,000. Applicants must be active PENS members throughout the duration of the grant and must complete a scholarship application.

• Tylenol Health Professions Scholarships- Tylenol® awards ten $10,000 scholarships and 150 $1,000 scholarships for higher education to students who demonstrate leadership in community activities and school activities and who intend to major in areas that will lead to health related fields.
• The United Negro College Fund-An educational assistance organization with 39 private, historically black, member colleges and universities.

Hispanic Specific Scholarships-The Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute developed a collection of Hispanic specific financial aid information. This information is attainable by calling 1-800-EXCEL-DC.

The Hazel Corbin Grant- awarded to midwifery students to cover costs of a planned research project addressing an aspect evidence-based midwifery care. Applicants must be enrolled in a midwifery education program that is accredited, or pre-accredited by eth American College of Nurse-Midwives (ACNM), Divison of Accreditation, and that has a supervised research component. Oncology Nursing Foundation Scholarship- For RN's seeking a BA or MA degree; 39 scholarships annually in the amount of $3,000; application deadline is December 1.
